THE MOMENT IS URGENT. With our democracy and citizens under attack on a daily basis, it feels like November is impossibly, frustratingly, alarmingly distant. But the work necessary to defend democracy against the rise of fascism—and retake Congress, the Senate, and state governments—is already underway.
EVERY VOTE MATTERS (EVM) is an independent volunteer team running phonebanks and training events to support a slate of Democratic candidates and other democracy-promoting initiatives across the country this November. Working directly with campaigns, EVM brings the commitment and skills to defend and lift democracy by maximizing voter political engagement.

Effective phonebanks can galvanize supporters, supercharge campaign volunteer numbers, and tip the balance in close elections. But what makes an effective phonebank? Who trains the callers to deliver a campaign's message? Who answers questions when callers are talking to voters? Who provides the tech support that gets a caller on the phone and keeps them dialing? WE DO! Our efforts increase the impact of every phonebank shift we run, and every volunteer training event we host.
Are you comfortable speaking to groups? Learn to lead successful, virtual voter outreach phonebanks and other volunteer trainings and events.
Do you have tech expertise? Provide the solutions and tech support that keep callers on the phone when they run into hiccups.
Are you fast on the keyboard and a great cheerleader? Bring effective and motivational chat support for the folks connecting with voters.

With large enough numbers, we can play a role in making this the biggest wave election in a generation. Only a true wave election will give Democrats the foothold necessary to stop and reverse our government's defiance of our Constitutional rights and slide into tyranny over its citizens. It's up to all of us to make that happen, so let us train you to be a part of this critical work. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we must grow our membership to support as many campaigns as we can.
